ANEK Lines recently held the “Recycling… at top speed” event at the Piraeus Port and attracted hundreds of people of all ages who recycled plastic, glass, metal and other packaging. The event was held in cooperation with the Piraeus Port Authority and the TEXAN Recycling Center and took place at the Compensative Recycling Center that is sponsored by ANEK Lines. “ANEK Lines is the first shipping company in Greece and Europe that dynamically participates in the protection of the environment with sensitivity and social responsibility,” Dimitris Vrontos, procurement department manager of ANEK. The event included music performances, a magic show and a recycling competition with major prizes, one being a trip for two to Venice.
