Temes recently held a presentation of the Navarino Resort project, which includes the construction of two king size hotel complexes in the area known as “Costa Navarino.” The resort hotels of Navarino Dunes (“Romanos Navarino Dunes Resort, The Luxury Collection” and “Westin Navarino Dunes Resort”) are located near the towns of Pylos, Chora and Gargaliani. Both hotels are to be managed by Starwood Hotels and Resorts. The Navarino Dunes complex is located in a seaside facing area of 1,300 stremma and is about half an hour from Kalamata Airport and has road access from Athens. In regards to accessibility, Mr. Konstantakopoulos said that charter flights of Air Berlin would begin routes to Kalamata from Nuremberg, Germany. The second hotel complex will be the Navarino Bay and should be ready to operate in 2012. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
