This year’s HO.RE.CA. proved wrong all negative forecasts that saw a “frightened attitude of the tourism sector against the escalating economic crisis,” according to Forum, the organizing company of the fifth international specialized exhibition of equipment, accessories, furniture and interior items for hotels, restaurants and cafes.

According to Forum, the exhibition’s innovative design, massive advertising campaign and participation of 320 exhibitors from the hotel market and wider food industry, attracted 70,000 professional visitors to the 5th HO.RE.CA. at the Hellenikon exhibition center during 22-25 January.

HO.RE.CA. 2010 was held under the auspices of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Panhellenic Federation of Restaurant Enterprises and the Athens Chef’s Club.

The 6th HO.RE.CA. exhibition will take place 21-24 January, 2011, at the Hellenikon exhibition center (Former Eastern Airport).
