From February to December 2010 some 39 restaurants in the United Kingdom will be “dressed” in blue and white to challenge their customers to savour dishes of Greek cuisine, Greek wines and cocktails. The “Taste of Greece-Taste of Greece in UK” event is an initiative by the Greek National Tourism Organization in London within the framework of a dynamic campaign to attract more tourists to Greece this year. The campaign includes competitions at restaurants and prizes include luxury trips to Greece offered by Aegean Airlines, Aldemar Hotels and CV Travel.
