Crete’s pavilion once again showcased the island’s four prefectures -Chania, Heraklio, Lassithi and Rethymno- and attracted many potential visitors.

Some 20,000 visitors were informed of this year’s top Greek destinations at the fourth Summer Holidays Expo international exhibition, according to organizer Helexpo. The exhibition took place 22-25 April at the Helexpo exhibition center in Thessaloniki.

Tourism professionals promoted tourism destinations and travel packages to visitors who had the opportunity to make on the spot reservations for their summer holidays. Visitors, who had free entrance to the exhibition, found a great variety of suggestions from destinations such as Florina, Pieria, Messinia, Evia, Dodekanissos, Crete, Preveza, Kythera, Chios, Samos and Cyprus. Travel enterprises Zorpidis Tours and Choice Travel were also present at the exhibition.

Zorpidis travel services informed visitors on the agency’s competitive prices, hotel chain partnerships, reliable air and shipping connections and fleet of motor coaches.
