The hotel is now an airport hotel and has been renamed Holiday Inn Athens Airport. The 5-star hotel, located on Attica Avenue and in close distance to Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, now serves a rich American breakfast buffet from 5:30 am, provides a real time departure/arrivals board and free transportation to the airport hotel by mini bus. In addition, the logo of the Holiday Inn brand has changed and is now “fresher and more youthful with vibrant colors and an unembellished look,” the hotel group said in a press release. The Holiday Inn hotel group announced in October 2007 the relaunch of the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels. The aim of the group is to create a more modern environment, enhance the quality of services and create a consistency among the 3,200 hotels listed with the name Holiday Inn.
