The Acropolis Rally will be placed under the auspices of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, according to an announcement made by Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister George Nikitiadis during a press conference organized for the rally at the New Acropolis Museum in late December 2010.

According to the deputy minister, the rally will attract worldwide interest and therefore play a major role in the promotion of Greek tourism.

Mr. Nikitiadis said the ministry would provide all possible assistance in organizing the event, which was cancelled in 2010, and added that it would be part of the “Greece every week” promotion program of activities.

The 57th Acropolis Rally will be held 16-19 June in Loutraki and its headquarters will be hosted by the Club Hotel Casino Loutraki.
