Etihad Airways Opens New Athens Office

Etihad Airways Director in Greece Dimitris Karagioules cutting the airline company’s New Year’s pita. Etihad Airways recently celebrated seven years of operation.

Etihad, national airline of the United Arab Emirates, opened a new office in the center of Athens in January.

The airline company is now located at 3-5 Kolokotronis and Voulis streets in Athens.

During the company’s annual pita cutting ceremony, Etihad Airways Director in Greece Dimitris Karagioules thanked his team and associates who, in turn, wished him “good flights” throughout the New Year.

Etihad Airways has designated 2011 as “the year of Abu Dhabi” with the recent launch of its “essential abu dhabi” destination marketing campaign that is designed to enhance the UAE’s capital as a top tourism and MICE destination.

The campaign will see Etihad unveil a number of exciting promotional activities across the globe with the participation of major tourism professionals in Abu Dhabi.
