Irish low cost carrier Ryanair will connect Thessaloniki with four European destinations within the framework of its cooperation with the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, Ryanair’s Sales and Marketing Executive Director Ida Buonanno said recently in Thessaloniki.

In a joint press conference with Thessaloniki Tourism Organization President and Mayor of Thessaloniki Yiannis Boutaris, Ms. Buonanno said that as of April Thessaloniki Airport would be connected to Brussels, London, Oslo and Stockholm.

Mayor Boutaris underlined the intense activity of the organization and highlighted the ambition to make Thessaloniki and the surrounding region a famous tourism destination.

The Thessaloniki Airport is the fourth airport in Greece that Ryanair added to its destinations whereas it already operates flights to Rodos, Kos and Magnesia (Volos).

In addition, Thessaloniki will also be connected with Istanbul, Turkey, via a direct Turkish Airlines flight in May.
