As of this month until 31 May 2012 the “Tourism for All” discounted vacation program will run, according to a decision signed last month by the Greek National Tourism Organization’s (GNTO) Secretary General Yiorgos Koletsos.

The program includes discounts at Greek hotels and other lodges of all categories that obtain the GNTO seal.

The “Tourism for All” program for 2011-2012 is covered by a budget of eight million euros and divided into two sub-programs through which 110,000 vouchers will be distributed to beneficiaries.

As of July 100,000 vouchers will be distributed for the first sub-program that offers six-day holidays.

The remaining 10,000 vouchers will be distributed for the second sub-program aimed for the elderly, which will run from 1 October 2011 to 31 May 2012.

The program is aimed at the domestic market and beneficiaries include pensioners, individuals with a 67 percent disability and multi-child parents.

The Citizen Service Centers (KEP) will distribute the vouchers to beneficiaries.
