He was born in Nafpaktos, Aitoloakarnania, and was a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He founded Costos Travel in 1984 and specialized in outgoing tourism and mainly in cultural and religious trips and has participated in many conferences related to religious and cultural travel.
