According to an announcement, the advertising campaign’s effectiveness was deemed satisfactory and efficient as Greece’s message was displayed over 100 million times in the five selected target markets. Meanwhile, the actual number of clicks far exceeded the estimated number in all countries and especially in Russia and Israel with rates that exceeded 70 percent. Approximately 124,000 times users chose to learn more about Greece by visiting visitgreece.gr and over 48,000 users watched the campaign videos. The GNTO’s online advertising campaign will run until the end of December 2011 and targets the markets of United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, Israel and Sweden.
