Dinos Astras, President of HAPCOPresident,
Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers

PHILOXENIA 2011 greeting.

The Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers (HAPCO) will once again join the Greek and foreign tourism professionals and actively participate in the 27th International Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia.

HAPCO considers exhibitions, such as Philoxenia, of particular importance, given that they are a first rate opportunity for both meeting up with the association’s members outside of Athens and making acquaintances with new professionals from central and northern Greece.

Despite the difficulties of the times and the overall complex economic situation of the country, tourism was, and will remain one of the most dynamic growth factors of the Greek economy.

Conferences, events and corporate meetings further enhance the course and quality of Greek tourism, proving to the international community that Greece can manage events to perfection.

The professionals-members of HAPCO, thanks to their valuable expertize, long time experience and network of skilled associates, guarantee the provision of high quality services that would lead to the success of any organization.

Hoping for the State’s support and the collaboration of social/political/tourism partners, but mainly for the assistance of the professionals of the Greek conference market, HAPCO will again proceed dynamically with courage, determination and a positive attitude to organize the 7th Pan-Hellenic HAPCO Conference (“Greek Meetings Industry: A Contribution to Development,” 8-9 December 2011, Aegli Zappiou, Athens), and in this way strengthen the national development effort of the Greek economy.

So, save the date and we hope to see you in December in Athens!
