Greek Hoteliers Make Deals With Turkish Tour Operators

Thessaloniki Hotels Association President Aristotelis Thomopoulos with TURSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies) General Secretary Günnur Özalp at a workshop held last month by the association at the Mediterranean Palace hotel in Thessaloniki. The association gave its members the opportunity to come into contact with Turkish tour operators interested in creating travel packages for Greece’s northern and second-largest city. According to Mr. Thomopoulos, the timing of the workshop was excellent as it followed the recent launch of the direct air link between Thessaloniki and Istanbul by Turkish Airlines.
