According to the press, the program aims to preserve jobs in seasonal hotels during the winter season (1 November-28 February). The program, with a budget of 600,000 euros, is implemented under Article 8 of Law 1545/85 and the amount of the subsidy for each worker is said to be equal to the daily unemployment benefit. Hotels that wish to enroll in the program must maintain the special seal of the Greek National Tourism Organization.
