Destinations news Greece’s Archaeological Sites Get Single Brand Identity by GTP editing team 1 April 2012 written by GTP editing team 1 April 2012 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 11 All museums and monuments of Greece now have a common new logo. A single brand identity, titled “Monuments and Museums of Greece” and a logo, common for all museums and monuments of Greece, was publicized last month by the Culture and Tourism Ministry. The announcement followed an international competition launched by the ministry in December 2011, for design ideas in return for prizes of between 1,000 and 12,000 euros. Winners of the competition were Kalliopi Zafeiri and Maria Katsika who submitted a logo with a linear design, characterized by simplicity and clarity with a color inspired by the landscape of the Greek land and its elements such as olive, stone, gold, marble and clay. All candidates’ logos are currently on display until 6 April 2012 at the Epigraphical Museum in Athens.
