Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister George Nikitiadis and Reverend Dodonis Chrysostomos cut the inauguration ribbon of NEXUS, the 1st International Alternative Tourism Exhibition, held 29 March-1 April at the Mediterranean Exhibition Centre (MEC) in Paiania. “Greek tourism welcomes Nexus,” the deputy minister said and underlined that alternative forms of tourism (religious tourism, cultural tourism, agritourism, marine, gastronomic tourism etc.) should not be treated as complementary to the Greek tourism product but as an essential condition to contribute to the country’s competitiveness.
