The New Acropolis Museum was among sites visited in Athens by tour operators and journalists from Kuwait during a fam trip organized 16-19 May by the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA). The fam trip to Greece also included visits to Santorini and Egina and aimed to open Greece to the market of the Arab state. Kuwait nationals travel all year round (June-September and December to winter destinations) to key destinations in Europe that include the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France and Turkey.
