Greece’s tourism potential, culture, history, political and economic developments and sports will be promoted this month at the “House of Hellenes” that will operate during the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The initiative is an essential cooperation of private enterprises that have joined forces to use the “House of Hellenes” during London 2012 as a platform to showcase Greece’s full potential development.

The Greek house opened to the public on 27 July under the slogan “Restarting Greece” at the Carlton Club, the oldest, most elite, and most important of all conservative clubs in the UK. It will operate until 3 August.

The scheme is a private initiative based on the collaboration of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, the Alliance for Greece movement and the International Olympic Truce Center in alliance with a number of collective organizations and businesses.

It is held under the auspices of a variety of organizations, chambers and associations such as the GNTO and the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises.
