The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew honors ANEK LINES CEO Yiannis Vardinoyannis.The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on Saturday, 1 September, honored ANEK LINES CEO Yiannis Vardinoyannis for the company’s years of support to the Monastery of Agia Triada of Tzagarolon (Akrotiri Peninsula, Chania, Crete). Through its ships, ANEK LINES promotes organic products of the monastery. According to ANEK, it is the only shipping company in Europe that exclusively uses Greek extra virgin olive oil within its restaurants on board and gives passengers the chance to sample the “valuable nutritional treasures Greece produces.”
