Greek tourism professionals were informed on useful technological innovations for the recovery of tourism amid the economic crisis at the second event of the Greek chapter of the International Federation for IT in Travel and Tourim (IFITT) held on Saturday, 29 September, on the sidelines of the Capital+Vision multi-conference at the Hilton Athens. The event was held under the main title “Innovative Technology for the Tourism Industry – Technology as a tool for development and dealing with the economic crisis” and attracted some 200 guests. IFITT is an exclusive organization that aims to merge the global academic community of eTourism with business and tourism vendors and improve the tourism infrastructure by always using new information and communication technologies.
