ARTION Shortlisted For ICCA Best Marketing Award

ARTION Conferences and Events, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, is included among the four finalists for the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Best Marketing Award.

ARTION ‘s entry is based on the company’s successful bid portfolio, organized in light of an extremely heavy climate in Greece, for Athens to host the 37th World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) Congress in May 2016. ARTION prepared the bid portfolio, which was submitted by the Hellenic Chef’s Federation on behalf of Greece. The Greek delegation won the bid to host the 37^th WACS Congress in May 2016 in Athens.

The other three finalists for the ICCA Best Marketing Award include The Bureau of Foreign Trade (Taiwan), Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (Malaysia) and the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions.

All finalists will make their final presentations at the ICCA Congress in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on 23 October 2012.

ARTION Conferences & Events will use this unique opportunity to promote Greece’s dynamics in the global tourism community.

The ICCA Best Marketing Award, established in 1997, recognizes the excellence and outstanding achievements of organizations in their effort to market their destination or product.
