We all know that bungee jumping is the most extreme sport practiced at the Corinth Canal, the gateway to the Peloponnese. However, not too long ago, Australian motorbike stunt driver Robbie Maddison (or “Maddo”) decided to take things further and jumped over the Canal on his motorbike, according to Greek culture website Greek Gateway! The distance from one side of the canal to the other is 85m (278 feet) while the drop is nearly 80m (262 feet). “This jump involved the highest consequences I have faced so far, so the first obstacle I had to overcome was my fear… I am thrilled I managed to pull it off. As you know, there is only one opportunity to get it right,” Maddo had said to ESPN after the jump.
