According to reports, the special zoning plan -promoted by the Tourism Ministry in collaboration with the Environment Ministry – is intended to enrich the classical mass tourism model with quality features of luxury tourism. It will also facilitate investment projects in tourism and infrastructure (ports, marinas, hospitals, etc.). Once the law is ready, a 20-day consultation will follow and it will be submitted to Greek Parliament and voted on, reports said.
