“Queen Elizabeth” Welcomes Greek Travel Agents

Greek travel agents from Athens were introduced to Cunard Line’s Queen Elizabeth cruise ship when she recently docked at Piraeus Port. The Queen Elizabeth is the newest “Cunarder” that joined the fleet in October 2010.

“She relives, in modern glamor, the high society events of the 1930s and 1940s,” Cunard mentions.

Princess Grill Suite

The ship has 10 restaurants: Brittania, Brittania Club, Princess Grill, Queens Grill, Café Carinthia, Lido Restaurant, Golden Lion Pub, Courtyard, Queens Room and The Verandah that offer a wide variety of culinary delights.

Passengers of the ship have many options in regards to daily activities such as lounges for afternoon tea, swimming pools, spa, gym, sports facilities for croquet-tennis-golf-ping pong, two-floor library sporting some 6,000 books, garden lounge, Internet café.

Evening entertainment features a casino, bars, lounges and performances in specially designed entertainment areas such as the Royal Theater (theater with concierge) and the Queens Room for dances.

For children there are specially designed areas-playrooms where experienced staff are available for their supervision.

During an onboard presentation of Cunard Line and its fleet, Greek travel agents were briefed on the company’s traditional cruises: 7-day transatlantic (from 807 euros per person) and 105-day around the world (from 12,910 euros per person).

Cunard Line was the first company to take passengers on regularly scheduled transatlantic departures since 1840 and has a fleet of three ships: Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.
