The meeting agenda also included talks on Greek-German cooperation in tourism, attracting investment and increasing German tourist arrivals to Greece. “Our goal is for Greece to be included among the top five destinations of German travelers very soon,” she said while underlining the importance of the German market for Greek tourism. During her stay in Berlin, the tourism minister will also hold talks with Hans-Joachim Fuchtel, Germany’s federal deputy labor minister, who has been appointed by Chancellor Angela Merkel as a special envoy to promote Greek-German cooperation on a local administration level. She will also hold meetings with senior executives of major tourism organizations and the German media.
