Greek Travel Agents Experience Doha

Qatar Airways recently organized a familiarization trip (fam trip) to Doha, for Greek travel agents to experience the capital city of Qatar as a tourism destination for Greeks.

According to the airline, arrivals from Athens to Doha have increased rapidly over the last year placing the city second in passenger traffic from Athens airport to non-European destinations.

During their stay in Doha, Greek travel agents toured notable places in the city such as the Museum of Islamic Art, Pearl Island, the education center, the famous souqs and shopping malls. They also had the opportunity to taste Arabic cuisine.

Doha-based carrier, Qatar Airways, recently received the title of Airline of the Year 2012 at this year’s Skytrax awards for the second consecutive year.
