Rodos Hits The UK Market

P.RO.TOUR, the Rodos Tourism Promotion Organization, will launch its “Sunkissed by Rodos” campaign at a celebrity-hosted event at the World Travel Market in London, UK, 5-8 November 2012. A BBC host will make the official presentation.

If you’re in the UK, don’t be alarmed if you see a “Sunkisser” coming your way!

According to Rodiaki newspaper, the campaign has already kicked off  in the UK and features a happy troupe of  ‘Sunkissers’ (photo) that roam the streets of central London, Manchester and Liverpool, every 15 days for six months and stop passers-by to fill them in on the highlights of Rodos.

These happenings are filmed and UK citizens that appear automatically take part in a contest to win free holidays to Rodos.

The campaign will run until spring 2013.

The “Sunkissed by Rodos” campaign is part of a broader promotional program of Rodos budgeted at some one million euros.

Rodos will take part in a total of 24 exhibitions from now until September 2013 while innovative and targeted actions will be carried out abroad with an emphasis on marine and gastronomy tourism.
