Grande Bretagne Offers Special Athens Marathon Package

For the second continuous year, Hotel Grande Bretagne is participating in the 30th Athens Classic Marathon on 11 November 2012 and is offering a special package for before and after the race that includes accommodation, nutrition and relaxation to boost the performance of athletes.

More specifically, the hotel’s Executive Chef, Sotiris Evangelou, has created a menu containing all elements that are necessary for an athlete just before the marathon, such as carbohydrates, protein and fruit. Also the GB Spa Manager, Anne Specque, chose together with her team an appropriate treatment with natural ingredients for instant relief of tired and strained muscles and joints.

All of the above are combined into one accommodation package at the Hotel Grande Bretagne that guarantees respect to guests’ needs.

From each reservation of the “Athens Marathon” package a share of 10 euros per room/stay will be donated to the non-profit foundation Medecins Sans Frontieres in Greece.
