Hospitality Cyclades Accommodation Owners Briefed On Local E-Booking Service by GTP editing team 5 November 2012 written by GTP editing team 5 November 2012 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 15 The Chamber of Cyclades last month demonstrated its new online booking system (e-booking) to tourism accommodation owners of the Cyclades. The Chamber of Cyclades presented its new online booking system (e-booking) through a series of meetings with tourism accommodation owners from the islands of Paros, Syros, Tinos, Andros, Milos, Sifnos, Naxos, Santorini and Mykonos. The meetings took place 17 September-22 October. The new e-booking application offers system integration and the operation of an easy-to-use, complete and autonomous online booking system. Through the chamber’s system, the e-booking application offers tourism accommodation owners a triple channel to interact with potential visitors. The application can be incorporated in both the corporate website and Facebook business page of the enterprise, as well as in the enterprise’s mini-website on the chamber’s website. Through an easy-to-use interface, tourism accommodation owners can immediately inform the booking system in regards to room availability and facilitate guests to make reservations online, easily and quickly. In addition, the application can adapt to e-mail platforms and mobile phones and also send out text messages (sms) and e-mails on offers, greeting messages, etc., to potential clients. According to the chamber, the local, independent and global reach online booking system came to “shield” the tourism businesses of the Cyclades and reduce their dependence on international monopolies of the market. “The sales and profit of each enterprise will increase significantly,” the chamber said in a press release.
