Creta Maris Wins TUI Champion Award

Creta Maris Beach Resort on Hersonissos, Crete, was recently honored with the “TUI Environmental Champion 2012” title for its environmental and social performance and guest satisfaction.

Creta Maris Beach Resort’s CEO and general manager, Andreas Metaxas, and director, Nikos Vlassiadis, holding the hotel’s “TUI Environmental Champion 2012” title.

The TUI Environmental Champion title is awarded annually by tour operator TUI to 150 hotels in the world that best fulfil the technical and organization requirements about an ecological responsible hotel management and act in accordance with these requirements.

To obtain this award the hotels must carry out with the requirements of the Environmental Checking List of TUI for Hotels and obtain the customer satisfaction about the steps started in the establishments.

Creta Maris Beach Resort, member of the chain Metaxas Group Of Companies, has also been honored with the Green Key 2012 award and the gold medal Travelife.
