Airtickets.gr CEO Dimitris Kontogeorgos accepts the e-volution award from Deputy Development Minister Athanasios Skordas.

Online travel agency airtickets.gr was honored for its success and significant contribution to Greek e-commerce at the second annual “e-volution” awards, held at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel on Wednesday, 5 December.

The e-volution awards were established last year by Boussias Communications and honor the best practices in digital business.

A pioneer in Greek e-commerce, airtickets.gr started its activities in 1999 and was the first travel company in Greece that actually invested in online travel.

With an annual turnover of 180 million euros, 90 partners and a presence in six countries, airtickets.gr is considered one of Greece’s largest online travel agencies.
