Company updates Kalavryta Ski Center Opens For Season by GTP editing team 25 December 2012 written by GTP editing team 25 December 2012 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 10 Kalavryta Ski Center The Kalavryta Ski Center, located on the North West side of Helmos, recently welcomed skiers for the new ski season with many innovations and new services! Kalavryta Ski Center chalet. Kalavryta’s Snow Park has been fully upgraded while new routes and obstacles to cover all levels of freestyle ski and snowboard have been added. The Funbag inflatable balloon will be available free of charge once again this year with the ski ticket. The “All inclusive ski Kalavryta” ski package is available again this year (weekends included). The package costs only €45 per person and includes food, accommodation in Kalavryta, a ski pass and equipment hire. Big changes have also been made to the chalet with special emphasis given to the gastronomy concept as it is based on local products and traditional recipes. How to get there The most economical and convenient transportation solution to and from the Kalavryta ski center is via the SNOWBUS provided by Amphitrion Coach Services. The Snowbus operates on fixed routes from Athens and Corinth to Kalavryta, 5 days a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the duration of the ski season. The transportation cost from Athens is €15 (return ticket) and includes discounts on the ski pass (€10 discount on weekends and holidays and €5 discount on weekdays), and on equipment hire, ski lessons and food in the chalet. Additional stops from Athens have been added to the route this year. Click here for reservations. The Snowbus from Patras will begin 6 January 2013 with official partner G-slalom. Transfer from Kalavryta town to the ski center Amphitrion has also launched a new route for all visitors of Kalavryta town to the ski center. The bus leaves from from Kalavryta at 9:30am and departs from the ski center at 2pm. The service will be available on weekends and holidays and the cost is €4 for adults and €3 for children. The family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) is €10. Ski schools The official ski and snowboard schools this year are HELMOS SKI TEAM (new), 4 SEASONS OUTDOOR, CAMELIA SKI SCHOOL and ALPINE SKI TEAM.
