The Torchbearer Award is given to hotels that have achieved the highest levels of excellence in achieving “Great Hotels Guest Love.” The evaluation of each hotel is conducted by the Intercontinental Hotels Group through structured questionnaires answered by randomly selected customers who complete them during their stay. Hotels that achieve the highest level of excellence in all aspects of operations – from quality to customer satisfaction – receive the Torchbearer Award.
