Events, music and dance happenings await all at Helexpo’s “Asterocosmos” on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day! Cartoon characters Dora the Explorer, Garfield, the Gummy Bear and SpongeBob will attend the Asterocosmos festivities from 6pm to 8pm. On Sunday, 30 December, many events have been planned for guests. An event surely not to be missed is the mass balloon release! At 5pm, Asterocosmos invites all guests to tie a personal wish to each of the provided colored balloons. At 6pm all wishes will be launched in the sky! Throughout New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Asterocosmos will hold dance and theatrical performances and raffles with surprise prizes for guests. Asterocosmos is an interactive unique Toy Land and dreamy Christmas Village with many surprises that include a technologically advanced flying saucer ride, a 450 square meter ice rink, Santa’s train, a carousel and creative workshops. At the Asterocosmos Market guests can find a wide variety of toys, candles, gifts, traditional products and handmade works. The market will remain open until 6 January 2013. Opening hours and admission Astercosmos is set up at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center and is open every day from 10am to 10pm until 6 January 2013.
