SETE Teams Up With Travelife For A Sustainable Tourism Industry

SETE teamed up with Travelife for a sustainable tourism industry.

SETE teamed up with Travelife for a sustainable tourism industry.The Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) recently signed a cooperation agreement with Travelife* and the European Centre for Ecological and Agricultural Tourism (ECEAT) to support the sustainability of Greek tourism.

The cooperation agreement aims to support Greek tourism enterprises recover profitability while improving their environmental and social performance.

The cooperation will focus on Travelife services that offer certification systems for the sustainability of tourism enterprises.

These services provide solutions that help the industry and its suppliers deliver environmental and social improvements throughout the tourism supply chain. More specifically:

– The Travelife Sustainability System for Hotels and Accommodations (ABTA managing authority) that provides a certification system in cooperation with tour operators.
– The Travelife Sustainability System for Tour Operators & Travel Agencies (ECEAT managing authority) that offers a wide range of services that support sustainability and includes training, management, planning, reporting and B2B tools.

Greek travel agencies interested in Travelife may also contact the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA).
