Castelli Welcomes 2013 With More Green Awards

The New Year found Castelli Hotel, located on Agios Sostis, Zakynthos, with two more environmental awards that confirm its policy to deliver hotel services with a minimal impact on the environment.

Castelli was recently honored with the TUI Environmental Champion Award 2012 (26th place in the world) and the Travelife Gold 2012–2014 award.

The TUI Environmental Champion awards are given every year to the best 100 social and environmental hotels by tour operator TUI. The award is based on an evaluation procedure relating to customer satisfaction in regards to environmental measures of the hotel and a checklist for environmental and social performance.

This is the second time, Castelli is honored with the Travel Life Gold award. The Travelife certification is an internationally recognized award scheme for hotels and other tourism related businesses that have attained high standards of environmental management.

Castelli Hotel is one of the 28 Greek hotels included in Travelife’s global on-line guide.

Castelli Hotel offers guests a variety of activities to bring them closer to Zakynthos and Greek nature such as the experience of olive-picking, an activity guests find very fun and interesting as it gives their holidays a unique tone of local character.
