Company updates Cronwell To Open All-Inclusive Family Resort In Greece This Summer by GTP editing team 31 January 2013 written by GTP editing team 31 January 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 10 Summer season 2013 will be marked with the opening of the third hotel of Cronwell Gallery in Greece, the new five-star “Cronwell Platamon Resort” situated on the shore of the Aegean sea in Platamonas of the Pieria region. “Cronwell Platamon Resort is our third Greek hotel, and we see a great potential for its development in this region,” Dmitry Kolesnikov, chairman of Cronwell Hotels & Resorts Russia, said. Cronwell aims for its newest addition in the portfolio Greek hotels to be established as Greece’s best family resort. “We have curious ideas to boom the tourist market in the sphere of leisure with children,” Mr. Kolesnikov said. The vast area of Cronwell Platamon Resort is 6 hectares. The hotel offers its guests 192 rooms (20-90 m2) and 5 two-level villas with fireplaces, saunas, jacuzzi, park zone, orchards and beautiful sandy beach. The hotel an “Ultra All Inclusive” resort (local and imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included) and free accommodation up to 2 children in the room. The food concept is based on use of fresh products of the leading Greek agricultural region and water from artesian wells of the Olympic ridge. Moreover, the hotel provides a spa center – 1000 m2 for soul and body improvement – along with gym, tennis court, mini-soccer field, ping-pong school, diving and basketball court. According to Cronwell Hotels & Resorts, the new hotel, previously known as Platamon Palace Beach Hotel & Spa, will undergo a large-scale renovation at the beginning of the summer season and “transform into the best hotel for family rest in Northern Greece.” An Entertainment Сenter and children’s castle “Platamon Palace” will be the summer season’s innovations. “You don’t need to think about organization of children’s leisure activities in advance – everyone will be able to find in Cronwell Platamon Resort bright entertainments, especially small guests,” Cronwell Hotels & Resorts said in a press release. The water park – “Splash Park” – is created specially for small guests of the hotel. The “splash territory” will rejoice with over 40 water attractions. In addition, the hotel is in close distance of historical sights such as Olympus and the ancient castle of the 12th century Platamon.
