Event News SETE To Promote Greek Gastronomy At HORECA Expo by GTP editing team 31 January 2013 written by GTP editing team 31 January 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 9 The Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) will hold an event next Friday, 8 February, at the 8th International Hotel, Restaurant and Cafe Show HORECA, to promote its initiative that sees gastronomy united with the marketing of Greek tourism. The event will host two sessions with key speakers from the tourism and gastronomy sectors: “Enhancing the passenger experience. Good practices and opportunities for cooperation in the tourism and food industry” and “Using brand products to boost tourism.” The sessions are sponsored by Aria Flavors, Expowork and Next AE. According to SETE, the project “Gastronomy in the marketing menu of Greek tourism” is an opportunity for those serving Greek tourism in a responsible manner to come together for a common goal. SETE’s campaign “Gastrotourism–Food for development” that aims to secure funds for the project to get off the ground, will run until the end of February 2013. SETE fundraising campaign: advertisements running in the Greek media. In this effort, SETE’s exclusive partners are Aegean Airlines and Eurobank. Recently added supporters include companies Edenred, METAXA, Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos,” Athenian Brewery and the Greek Wine Federation. Communication sponsors include the Kathimerini-SKAI Group and Athens Insider magazine and the project’s special communications agent is Athinorama guide.
