Heraklion, Crete, is expecting the number of cruise liner stopovers at its port this year to increase by 51.8 percent compared to 2012, according to data released today, 14 February.

Last year, a total of 215,700 cruise passengers arrived at Heraklion Port, out of which 168,106 were transit passengers and 47,594 were home port passengers.

According to the Heraklion Port Authority, cruise companies scheduled to make stopovers at the city’s port this year are the following: Aida Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Costa Crociere, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, Kristina Cruises, Louis Cruises, Majestic International Cruises, Mano Maritime, Mediterranean Shipping Company, Norwegian Cruise Line, P & O Cruises, Phoenix Reisen, Princess Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruise.
