Cyprus Airways is now the official carrier of the Hellenic Basketball Clubs Association, according to a recent sponsorship agreement between both sides. In 2012, Cyprus Airways celebrated 65 years of operation, adding flights to over 24 destinations in Europe and the Middle East. As of last October, the airline expanded its flight operations program in Greece and increased domestic flights between the airports of Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion and Rhodes via new and modern Airbus aircraft.
