The Greek stand at ITB Berlin 2013 came in second place in the Europe category of the Best Exhibitor Awards, held by students of the Cologne Business School (CBS) on Saturday, 9 March.

Turkey topped the best of the best exhibitors in the Europe category, followed by Greece and Puglia.

During the days of the trade show (this year 8-10 March), the future tourism managers, most of whom opted for the core subject of Tourism, visited some 12,000 booths at ITB and assessed them according to numerous criteria such as booth construction, information contents, service quality, friendliness and special effects.

The award ceremony took place in the Palais at the Funkturm on the Berlin fair trade premises and was hosted by CBS students Jessica Wack and Marie-Caroline Utsch. The ten best placed exhibitors of each category were awarded in front of over 600 invited guests, and the best three of each category on stage.

CBS is an internationally orientated, state-recognised university of applied sciences and counts as one of Germany‘s top Business Schools.
