Tour Of Atelier Spyros Vassiliou

The Atelier Spyros Vassiliou is inaugurating a series of educational programs –  “In the years of Uncle Spyros” – for mixed groups of adults.

A 90-minute organized tour of the atelier, in collaboration with museologist Popi Georgopoulou, will be held on Saturday 16 March, at 4pm.

The “In the years of Uncle Spyros” programs aim for the audience to come acquainted with both the man and the painter Spyros Vassiliou through an interactive and interpretive approach of the atelier’s permanent exhibition.

The tour will include stories on his years in Galaxidi, his coming to Athens, his first years in the Faculty of Fine Arts, his experience with theater, the era of woodcutting art, etc.

Coffee will be served at the atelier after the tour.
