Trade Associations - Gov Greek Travel Agents Team Up With Germany To Improve Greece’s Competitiveness by GTP editing team 27 March 2013 written by GTP editing team 27 March 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 The first meeting of a Working Group for Greek tourism comprising representatives of Greek and German travel agencies has been scheduled to take place in Berlin on 13-14 June 2013, the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) announced yesterday, 26 March. The working group will aim to improve Greece’s competitiveness in the German market. The announcement followed the kick off meeting between HATTA and the German Travel Association (DRV) that took place in Athens. At yesterday’s meeting, both sides discussed details on the Greek-German cooperation among representatives of travel agencies of both countries. Yesterday’s meeting followed talks between HATTA and DRV during the Greek-German forum that took place in February 2012 in Berlin on issues concerning the development of incoming tourism from the German market to Greece. The initiative is supported by the Greek Tourism Ministry and the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
