Mayor Kaminis, accompanied by 20 Greek businessmen, is currently on an official visit to Beijing in a bid to strengthen relations between the two cities. Yesterday, 28 March, Mr. Kaminis met with Du Deyin, chairman of the Party Leadership Group of the Standing Committee of Beijing Municipal People’s Congress, and discussed issues of tourism, business and culture. The mayor’s visit to Beijing aims to promote the Greek capital as an independent tourism destination and for Greek tourism professionals to come in contact with respective Chinese businessmen to strengthen the cooperation between the two cities.
