Mr. Rehhagel attended the meeting the tourism minister held in Athens on Tuesday, 26 March, with German Federal Deputy Labor Minister Hans-Joachim Fuchtel on tourism education issues. Reference was made to sports tourism and Mrs. Kefalogianni requested the assistance of Mr. Rehhagel. According to Kathimerini, the German coach said soccer teams from his country could come to Greece for warm weather training if the appropriate facilities are available.
