CWT Earns Double Victory At 2013 EyeForTravel Awards

Carlson Wagonlit Travel recognized for its commitment to deliver the perfect trip to business travelers

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) was recognized with two awards at this year’s EyeForTravel Mobile Innovation Awards ceremony held recently in San Francisco, U.S..

WorldMate, CWT’s mobile subsidiary, won EyeForTravel’s “Best Mobile App” award for the second consecutive year and CWT earned the award for “Best Mobile Strategy,” a category that recognizes those companies that have excelled in the way they have planned and integrated a cross-platform mobile offering.

“Investing in mobile services for our customers is part of our commitment to delivering the perfect trip, as we aim to provide travelers with personalized and relevant information through multiple channels,” said Douglas Anderson, CWT president and chief executive officer.

CWT To Go powered by WorldMate will be available to CWT travelers in the coming months and include services such as itinerary management for trips booked via CWT or through other channels, real-time flight updates and, later this year, mobile booking.
