Event News Santorini To Hold Educational Seminars For Professionals by GTP editing team 1 April 2013 written by GTP editing team 1 April 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 The Municipality of Thira, Santorini, will hold three educational seminars in regards to the island’s local products for food service and hospitality professionals, within the framework of the “2013 Year of Gastronomy in Santorini” initiative. The seminars start tomorrow, 2 April. Through the seminars “The Wine and Local Products of Santorini in Contemporary Food Service,” the municipality aims to show professionals the best way to manage and promote the island’s famous wine and other local products. The seminars, held in collaboration with local producers and industry experts in Santorini, will be held on three different dates with the same content and theme. Seminars Program 1st Seminar: Tuesday 2 April 2013 at 11am – Union of Santorini Cooperatives, Pyrgos 2nd Seminar: Thursday 18 April 2013 at 11am – Boutari Winery, Megalohori 3rd Seminar: Tuesday 14 May 2013 at 11am – Boutari Winery, Megalohori The duration of the seminars will be approximately 3 hours with a break and time will be available for questions and clarifications. Participation is free. A certificate of attendance will be given at the end of the seminars.
