Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni departed today, 4 April,  for London to further boost tourist flows from the UK to Greece just before the start of the new season, a press release said.

During her stay in London, Mrs. Kefalogianni will hold meetings with senior executives of leading travel agencies such as TUI and on Saturday afternoon, 6 April, she will meet with renowned actor-director Steven Fry, who is known for his love for Greece.

She is also scheduled to give interviews to the UK media to promote alternative tourism and improve the tourism image of Greece.

According to early bookings, Greece expects a great increase in UK tourist arrivals this summer.

The UK is considered Greece’s second largest tourism market after Germany.
