HELMEPA1The Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA), in cooperation with the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC) in Piraeus, is inviting its online followers to pick the new slogan of its summer campaign through a competition to be run exclusively through Facebook.

The winner of HELMEPA's slogan competition will also receive a complete beginner’s sailing course at the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC) at Piraeus!

Contestants – who will be the fans from Attica of HELMEPA’s Facebook page – are requested to formulate their inspired environmentally-oriented concise messages and submit them online for judging.

The slogan will appear on the poster that is to be circulated throughout Greece and HELMEPA’s membership as part of HELMEPA’s 2013 summer environmental awareness campaign.

As in each year, the poster will feature HELMEPA’s Seagull, who will convey an important environmental message.

Besides being credited with the authorship of HELMEPA’s latest catchphrase, the winner of the competition will also be the lucky recipient of a special prize, kindly donated by HORC: a complete beginner’s sailing course at the Club, to take place over a period of two months and worth over 400 euros.

The competition will run until Wednesday 24 April.

For those living in Attica, not already part of HELMEPA’s Facebook family and who want to take part in the contest, simply ‘like’ the Association’s page, click on the competition tab and complete the details as necessary.
